We engaged Gilmore Construction Management in early 2024 for our $25m City Campus project as Client-Side Project Manager, following Daniel's success with smaller projects at our branches. This complex project includes a future car parking building, high-performance audio-visual needs in the auditorium and chapel, and various technical elements. We engaged GCM to oversee Project Scope and planning, Project milestones and program pre-construction, selection of the design team (architect and main consultants) , Pre-tender documentation, Contractor pre-tender engagement and Contractor selection and review, Construction monitoring, Reporting to the project owners and authorization of contractor claims.
Right from the outset we were impressed with Daniels understanding and experience of the commercial construction environment. He demonstrated an ability to work through challenges in a collaborative way, find solutions to issues that had delayed us to that point and overall progress the project at a much faster rate. In a short period of time we had a solid team of consultants signed up and a revised design that is far more cost effective and efficient to build.
