Client Testimonial- Gilmore Construction Management
We engaged Gilmore Construction Management in early 2024 to start work on our New City Campus project in the capacity of client-side project manager. The value of the project is $25m. At that point Daniel had successfully managed a couple of smaller projects at one of our branches with a good result in both cases.
The project has a high degree of complexity due to the co-ordination of a future car parking building on the site, high performance audio-visual requirements in the auditorium and chapel and a number of technical building elements. GCM provided valuable guidance with selection of consultants and a high level of communication with our project team.
We engaged GCM to oversee Project Scope and planning, Project milestones and program pre-construction, selection of the design team (architect and main consultants) , Pre-tender documentation, Contractor pre-tender engagement and Contractor selection and review, Construction monitoring, Reporting to the project owners and authorization of contractor claims.
Right from the outset we were impressed with Daniels understanding and experience of the commercial construction environment. He demonstrated an ability to work through challenges in a collaborative way, find solutions to issues that had delayed us to that point and overall progress the project at a much faster rate. In a short period of time we had a solid team of consultants signed up and a revised design that is far more cost effective and efficient to build.
