GCM were engaged after the beginning stage of the project and were able to identify and reconfigure multiple considerations, resulting in savings of a magnitude of millions. The revamped plan & approach also led to a much improved overall outcome.
The project presented many complications ranging from historic site processes to high-tech acoustic considerations, security, and complex consents. GCM provided valuable contextual knowledge, advice, contractor negotiations and overall project management to streamline the process.
Integral to the planning process was an additional proposed $30 million multilevel car park building on the site. This aspect of the project presented many further complex considerations, some affecting the planning and procedure of the main building complex. GCM were able to facilitate and manage a pathway that led to positive developments beyond expectation.

We engaged Gilmore Construction Management in early 2024 for our $25m City Campus project as Client-Side Project Manager, following Daniel's success with smaller projects at our branches. This complex project includes a future car parking building, high-performance audio-visual needs in the auditorium and chapel, and various technical elements. GCM provided crucial guidance in consultant selection and maintained excellent communication with our project team.
Their role encompassed overseeing project scope and planning, defining milestones, selecting the design team, preparing pre-tender documentation, engaging contractors, and monitoring construction. From the start, we were impressed by Daniel's understanding of the commercial construction landscape. He fostered collaborative problem-solving and helped us overcome delays, resulting in a solid team of consultants and a revised design that is more cost-effective and efficient to build. I have no hesitation in recommending GCM for your next project.
